Delphic live in Paris – Le Divan Du Monde

Having recently released their second album, Collections, our favourite Mancunian trio Delphic are back on tour to spread their electro-pop fever all around the world!

Le Divan Du Monde / March 14th - What a fantastic intimate live performance last Thursday night in Paris. Merging Acolyte and Collections tubes, they offered us an intense show, beautiful and stylistically consistent. James, Rick and Matt juggled wonderfully from electronic to R&B beats, we danced like crazy!! The vocals were excellent, also the flow from one track to the next was really well synchronised and carefully worked! Delphic gave everything they had to deliver a remarkable performance, une fois de plus!

Their talent let me breathless since I saw them on stage for the first time three years ago in Berlin…And believe me, the magic is far from over.

Well done les garçons!

One Night in Paris with Jake Bugg!

Now when you’ll say JB I won’t think about Justin Bieber anymore… Jake Bugg is arrived guys! This eighteen years old british folk singer is my new voice crush.

So I went to La Flèche d’Or last week excited about going to see Jake’s live and wasn’t disappointed! To tell the truth, this little guy rocked the audience in a smoothing way, mixing rockabilly songs and accoustic tunes, DELIGHTFUL.

We’ll be seeing much more of Jake next year and if you missed last show write on your agenda that he is coming back to Paris on the 4th March at Le Trianon, lucky us!!!!

Fashion Week Special NYC: Thakoon Fall-Winter 12/13

New York Fashion Week started few days ago and I didn’t have time yet to talk about the fall-winter Trésors, so here we go now!

Thakoon, our favorite SO FAR, showed a collection inspired by the elegance of old New York combined with the feeling of dark romance. He used fabrics as Mongolian fur, foiled knitwear and crinkled patent leather.

The color story is grandiose, fuschia combinated with hot red, indigo-violet and also mixed with a neutral color palette..We fell in love!

And la cerise sur le gâteau (as we say in french: the cherry on the cake), accessories made of leopard painted python. One more time, well done monsieur Thakoon!

Wilkommen at Highfield Festival!

Summer is the best time to run into music festivals and it’s nothing to say that we have a large choice in europe. This year I decided to explore a new one, in the Germany’s countryside near to Leipzig, called Highfield. Known essentially by the germans (yes we were the only frenchy), the location was pretty huge with a beautiful lake around us…

Three stages, three days non-stop (19 -20 -21th August), where Yelle, The Kooks, 30 Seconds To Mars, Foo Fighters and many more performed in a festive atmosphere.

Thanks to my friend with who I spent a lovely time there and a big thank you to all the artists and particularly to the Yelle’s and 30STM team!

Tuesday sounds like – Best Coast – Our Deal

Best Coast is the sound which comes directly from Californiaaaa!!! For the song “Our Deal”, they took Drew Barrymore as director for a glamourous, tragic and so beautiful video clip that you can watch below. The mise en scene is about two gangs ” Day trotters” and “Night Creepers” fighting in the LA streets i guess mixing also a love story, some cool “bananas” haircuts and graffitis … Hudge casting where we find a lot of talented young actors as Shailene Woodley, Donald Glover, Miranda Cosgrove, Chloe Moretz, Tyler Posey and cie…

WELCOME ON MARS

Already more than one year that I met for the first time the 30 Seconds To Mars guys in Berlin. They have been touring non-stop since this date (oui they are really incredible) and I’m now meeting them again for another show, this time at l’Olympia in Paris where they performed yesterday! What a show, what a night and such good energy, les Parisiens you were motivated more than never! Déjà plus de an que j’ai croisé le chemin des 30 Seconds To Mars à Berlin! En tournée non-stop depuis cette date (oui ils sont incroyables), je les retrouve cette fois-ci à Paris plus précisement à l’Olympia où nous avons assisté à un super show hier soir. Quelle soirée, une énergie dingue et une foule parisienne motivée plus que jamais!
